Why you need an expert

The latest and greatest cloud-based products and solutions seem simple enough, but there are still lots of aspects that need to be taken into consideration when designing a cloud solution. Which products should you use? How do they fit together? What kind of architecture would be best for your business? Even someone who’s been working with technology for years might not have all the answers. That’s where an expert can help, as they’ve learned how to build solutions that work best in today’s complicated world. Hiring a consultant gives you access to their deep knowledge on systems, processes, and strategies while also letting them learn more about your particular business needs. You’ll gain new skills through their expertise while they pick up new knowledge on your operations—it’s a win-win situation.

Is Microsoft certification worth it?

As a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer, you’re in high demand. But there are certain downsides to having credentials that prove your worth. If you’re certified, many employers will look down on you if you don’t have it—and if you don’t have it, recruiters won’t bother looking at your resume. Microsoft is known for being rather tough on these tests too, meaning passing isn’t as easy as it may seem at first glance. Let’s take a deeper look at how certifications stack up and whether or not they’re really worth it.

What’s included in the exam?

The Azure Architecting exam is broken into two sections. The first section covers design considerations, with 35 questions on blueprints, best practices and architectural patterns. Candidates must answer five of these correctly to pass that portion of the test. The second section covers deployment methods and includes 32 questions, which require four correct answers to pass. Candidates have 90 minutes to complete both sections of the exam and an additional 30 minutes to review their answers before submitting them. They may earn a maximum of 70 points on each section; however, they can only submit their results if they’ve answered at least 34 out of 35 correctly in Part 1 and at least 27 out of 32 correctly in Part 2. Passing requires a total score of 672 or higher.
The clock starts as soon as you begin your exam, but you can also choose to use your remaining time for practice tests after you click finish on your initial answers. You should keep track of how much time you spend so that you’re aware when testing is about to end automatically. Every question has only one possible answer and one point value (0-1). When answering multiple-choice questions, candidates should select A if they strongly agree with it, B if they moderately agree or C if they mildly agree with it—or X if they disagree at all.

What are some best practices?

If you’re learning how to become an Azure architect, some things that are sure to come up are best practices. As is usually (and unfortunately) true with technology and IT in general, there is no one size fits all answer for best practices when it comes to Azure. You’ll have your own personal preferences, as well as customer preferences depending on what type of project or process you’re working on. However, there are a few overarching themes that are worth keeping in mind during architecture planning phases.

How long will I be certified for?

Azure architect certification is valid for one years after passing exam. But keep in mind that if you want to stay active with Microsoft, you must recertify by completing 20 continuing education units every years to maintain your current certification level. With a cloud-based and continuously growing industry, it’s important to stay up-to-date on new technologies, techniques and best practices. Continuing education is essential for Azure professionals who want to grow their expertise and value within today’s competitive market.

Who should become an Azure Architect?

Azure architecture is becoming more and more important to learn as companies adopt cloud technologies such as Azure. By getting your feet wet in managing a virtual machine, you can gain a better understanding of how Azure infrastructure management is structured. This will help you make sure your infrastructure is running optimally and troubleshoot issues that may come up in between scheduled backups or maintenance windows. The best way to know for certain if a career in Azure architecture would be right for you is by learning about what goes into designing, setting up, and managing an environment by actually doing it yourself!

What is covered in this exam?

In order to pass Microsoft’s Azure Architect certification exam, you need to understand a lot of different concepts. You’ll have to understand exactly what Azure is and how it works. You’ll need to be familiar with its security features, compute platform, networking services, storage options and much more. You can learn all about these things by taking a wide variety of courses that are designed specifically for those who want to get certified in their area of expertise. Whether you want to go into business building web apps on Azure or become an expert on security features that make companies more protected when using cloud solutions, there is plenty of great training available for you to take advantage of!
